Esta iniciativa inovadora procura revolucionar a agricultura local, centrando-se nas pequenas empresas agr\u00edcolas detidas por mulheres e promovendo simultaneamente a capacita\u00e7\u00e3o da comunidade e a sustentabilidade ambiental.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O objetivo central do projeto mant\u00e9m-se inalterado: capacitar a comunidade local atrav\u00e9s do cultivo de culturas de curta matura\u00e7\u00e3o e promover uma economia circular atrav\u00e9s da integra\u00e7\u00e3o de res\u00edduos org\u00e2nicos nas pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas. \u00c9 dada especial aten\u00e7\u00e3o ao fornecimento de produtos hort\u00edcolas frescos e de qualidade, em especial os suscept\u00edveis de deteriora\u00e7\u00e3o da qualidade em cadeias de abastecimento longas, como as quiabos, os pepinos e as beringelas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Com um enfoque estrat\u00e9gico em culturas com per\u00edodos de matura\u00e7\u00e3o curtos, o projeto n\u00e3o s\u00f3 assegura um fornecimento r\u00e1pido de produtos frescos, como tamb\u00e9m reduz significativamente as milhas alimentares e as emiss\u00f5es de CO2 associadas. Mais importante ainda, aborda a quest\u00e3o do desperd\u00edcio alimentar, minimizando as actividades de triagem de produtos altamente perec\u00edveis, com o objetivo de reduzir em 50% a importa\u00e7\u00e3o de frutas e legumes frescos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o revela os progressos realizados desde o in\u00edcio do projeto, apresentando v\u00e1rias actividades, incluindo a an\u00e1lise do solo, a lavoura, o estabelecimento de viveiros, a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de irriga\u00e7\u00e3o, a seguran\u00e7a das explora\u00e7\u00f5es agr\u00edcolas e a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de fossas de compostagem. A fase experimental, que decorrer\u00e1 at\u00e9 junho de 2024, orientar\u00e1 as futuras expans\u00f5es com base em avalia\u00e7\u00f5es de risco operacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este ambicioso projeto, lan\u00e7ado no final de 2023, promete n\u00e3o s\u00f3 garantir produtos de qualidade aos consumidores, mas tamb\u00e9m contribuir significativamente para a sustentabilidade ambiental e o desenvolvimento comunit\u00e1rio.
